With the strength of a rock and the delicate fragrance of pink carnations, wearing brown and mode, gamma phi beta women lead the new generation with a winning spirit. Improving the world for our new generation of young women through education, social life, and service to country and humanity is a noble stand we take with pride and honor.
There is no better way to lead than by example and we strive to do so with commitment to academic excellence and philanthropy throughout the community.
Every member is selected to life membership. This choice of membership does not relate simply to one college campus or community, for every member belongs to the International Sorority and enjoys a member's rights, privileges, and responsibilities wherever she may live, study, work, or travel. As a member, you have the opportunity to be a part of a sisterhood that has blossomed from Four Founders to over 150,000 members with 116 collegiate chapters and more than 160 alumnae groups in the United States and Canada. That's why we welcome you to Gamma Phi Beta, the first women's society to be called a sorority!
Our mission is to foster a nurturing environment that provides women the opportunity to achieve their potential through life-long commitment to intellectual growth, individual worth and service to humanity.
...to be a premiere women’s organization with a winning spirit through:
* seeking cultural, demographic and economic diversity,
* the development of chapter, community and interfraternal leaders,
* providing programming which addresses issues relevant to women and society,
* the strengthening of resources,
* a focus on being member-driven, and
* management of the organization through volunteerism.
A complete Gamma Phi Beta woman is prepared to be a leader, believes in philanthropy and helping young girls, is committed to personal academic excellence and values her lifelong membership in Gamma Phi Beta.
